Evans Named CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball senior guard Dana Evans has been named to the CoSIDA NCAA Division I Academic All-District First Team. The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late May.

Prior to the start of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament, Evans was named the ACC's Kay Yow Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She was also named the ACC Player of the Year for the second straight season and was a consensus first team All-American.

She graduated in the spring with a degree in sport administration and a minor in communication.
