Cardinals Travel to Clemson, Georgia Tech

Louisville, Ky. – After splitting a pair of matches last week, the University of Louisville men's tennis team will return to ACC action Friday at Clemson and Sunday at No. 32 Georgia Tech.

Scouting the Tigers: Clemson enters the match 7-11 (1-8, ACC) on the season. The Tigers are led by No. 103 Carlos Kelaidis in singles, who hold a 5-7 overall record in dual match play. In doubles, Clemson has two ranked duos with No. 22 Teodor Giusca and Yizhou Liu holding a 4-2 record and No. 27 Ryuhei Azuma and Jacob Jahn currently with a 5-2 record. - Last week, the Cardinals 8-8 (2-5, ACC) downed No. 38 Middle Tennessee State 4-0 and fell to conference foe Notre Dame 4-0.
- No. 56 Sergio Hernandez leads the Cardinals in singles holding a 10-3 overall record. Last week against Middle Tennessee, he defeated the Blue Raider's Tom Moonen 6-4, 6-4 helping guide the Cards to a 4-0 victory.
- No. 60 Fabien Salle and Matthew Fung lead the team in doubles with an 8-7 overall record. Last week they defeated MTSU's Ravel Motl and Stijn Slump 6-2.
