Leon Named ACC Women's Field Performer of the Week

The University of Louisville's Gabriela Leon was named the ACC Field Performer of the Week on April 7.

Leon earned the honor after her performance in the pole vault at the Louisville Invitational last weekend. She matched her career-best and tied her own school record with a vault of 4.27, (14-00.00) to take first place at the Louisville Invitational on Saturday. The mark currently stands seventh in the nation. The win is Leon's first of the 2021 outdoor season, she tallied two in the indoor season.
