Cardinals Set to Compete in Toyota U.S. Open

The meet will run from Dec. 1 to Dec. 4.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 11-ranked University of Louisville women's swimming and diving team is heading to Greensboro, N.C., to compete in the Toyota U.S. Open at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The Cardinals are sending a limited roster headlined by Abby Hay, Arina Openysheva, Mallory Comerford and Andrej Barna. Louisville's women are coming off a second-place finish at the Purdue Invitational, highlighted by placing first in the final 400 freestyle relay and four Cardinals finishing in the top four for the 200 butterfly.
The meet will run from Wednesday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 4. The meet will begin with 800 freestyle finals at 6 p.m. ET on Dec. 1. Prelims will start at 10 a.m. ET for the remaining three days of the meet. Distance heats for the 1500 freestyle will start at 4:45 p.m. ET on Dec. 4.
