- Louisville won its 31st regular season tournament championship with the victory over Maryland.
- The Cardinals improved to 6-2 all-time against Maryland in the first meeting between the two since 2000.
- Louisville dominated the glass Saturday, outrebounding the Terrapins 51-25.
- The Cardinals are 4-0 this season when they win the rebounding battle.
- The plus-26 margin is the largest for the Cardinals since finishing plus-28 against Evansville on Nov. 25, 2020.
- The margin is the largest for UofL away from home since posting a plus-30 against Northeastern in the Great Alaska Shootout on Nov. 28, 1986.
- It's the largest rebounding advantage against a current Power Five program since posting a plus-29 against Virginia Tech on Feb. 6, 1986.
- The Cardinals grabbed 17 offensive rebounds, their third consecutive game and fourth time this season with at least 10.
- Louisville turned those offensive boards into 16 second chance points, giving them at least 16 second chance points in each of the last three games.
- Maryland finished with just two offensive rebounds, the fewest by a Louisville opponent since Clemson also had two on Feb. 15, 2020.
- The Terrapins three second chance points were the fewest for a UofL opponent since Evansville did not have any on Nov. 25, 2020.
- Louisville held Maryland to just 38.5 percent (20-for-52) from the field, the fourth team in six games to shoot under 40 percent against the Cardinals.
- The 55 points allowed by the Cardinals were a season low.
- Louisville has held the opposition to 60 points or fewer in four of six games this season.
- The Cardinals shot just 35.0 percent (21-of-60) on Saturday, their lowest shooting percentage in a victory since defeating Old Dominion while shooting 29.7 percent on Nov. 23, 2016.
- Malik Williams notched his sixth career double-double and first of the season leading the Cardinals with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
- Williams has tallied double digit rebounds in four of six games this season and has at least nine in five.
- The 13 points is his highest output since finishing with 17 against North Carolina on Feb. 22, 2020.
- Williams also registered a career high four steals.
- Noah Locke added 12 points, surpassing the 1,000-point mark for his career (933 at Florida, 78 at Louisville).
- Locke is the third player on Louisville's roster with 1,000 career points (Faulkner, West).
- Locke has scored in double figures in five of six games this season.
- He made three three-pointers in the victory, his fourth game this season with at least three shots made from the outside.
- Jarrod West scored nine points and dished out a season high six assists.
- Jae'Lyn Withers scored just five points on 1-of-3 shooting, but grabbed a season best 11 rebounds.
- Withers now has five career games with double digit rebounds.
