Cardinals Wrap Up the Fall Season This Weekend

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville softball team will wrap up the 2021-22 fall season this weekend when the Cardinals play host to Bellarmine Friday at 5 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium. On Sunday, the team will compete in the Red & Black intrasquad scrimmage at 12 p.m. Both contests are open to the public and admission is free.

Louisville enters Friday's contest after playing six games over four weekends on the road at Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana.

Louisville returns 17 players from last year's team including National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-NFCA All-Southeast Region and All-ACC selections Carmyn Greenwood and Taylor Roby. The Cardinals also welcome seven newcomers to the 2022 squad.

The Cardinals will open the 2022 season in February. The complete spring schedule will be released in November.
