EAST LANSING, Mich. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team tallied three wins as they wrapped up play at the Michigan State Drobac/Beeman Invitational Sunday afternoon.

"It was a good tournament for us," said assistant coach Mario Rincon. "Kyle and David played eight matches each and they definitely improved in areas we worked on during the previous week."

The Cardinals went undefeated on the day starting with a doubles victory as David Mizrahi and Kyle Tang defeated Carson Gates and Jarreau Campbell 6-3.

Louisville followed with a pair of doubles wins as Mizrahi overcame a 6-4 first set loss to beat Gates 7-5, 10-8 in the next two sets. Tang registered a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Campbell.

The Cards will return to action in two weeks when they host the Louisville Invitational which will take place Oct. 15-17 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

Mizrahi led UofL in the tournament finishing the weekend with a 2-2 singles record while the duo of Mizrahi and Tang totaled a pair of doubles wins.
