Cardinals Set for Louisville Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville will conclude the 2021-22 fall season by hosting the Louisville Invitational this weekend at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. Admission is free.

The tournament, which is slated to take place Oct. 15-17, features seven teams including the host Cardinals along with: Bellarmine, East Tennessee State, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville and Purdue.

As Louisville enters its fourth weekend of fall competition, Matthew Fung leads the way with a 6-1 singles record. The junior opened the fall season with six straight wins before fall in the ITA/Ohio Valley Regionals on Sept 25. Senior David Mizrahi stands second on the team with five wins on the season while Alex Wesbrooks has compiled a 3-0 singles record.

In doubles, Mizrahi and sophomore Kyle Tang have paired for a team-best four wins.
