LOUISVILLE, Ky. – No. 2 University of Louisville women's basketball hosts Florida State (4-1, 3-1) on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. ET. The game will broadcast on ESPN2 and 790-AM WKRD.

UofL is 11-0 to start the season for the third time in four years. The Cards started 14-0 in 2018-19 and a program-record 20-0 in 2017-18.

The Cardinals shot 10-21 from long range in the 89-70 win over Boston College. Their 47.6 3-point shooting percentage against the Eagles was the second best this season to the 50 percent (13-26) they shot against Bellarmine and the 10 makes were the third most this season. They made a season-high 14 in the win over Eastern Kentucky. On the season, Louisville is shooting 34.1 percent from deep, which ranks sixth in the ACC.

Olivia Cochran had 18 points and seven rebounds, on 6-9 shooting, vs. BC. She leads the team, ranks 12th in the ACC and third among ACC freshmen, with 7.0 rebounds per game, while ranking fourth on the team with 12.5 points per game. She has scored in double figures in seven of 11 games and three times has double digit rebounds. She is shooting 61.4 percent from the floor, which would lead the ACC, but her 4.6 field goals per game are just short of the qualifying mark.

Dana Evans scored 24 points on 9-16 shooting, 3-5 from deep, in the win over Boston College. She started the game 2-9, but made her final seven shots. She has scored 20-plus points in eight of 11 games this season. Her eight 20-point games are double the second most in the ACC as four players have four.

Florida State returns to action looking for their first win of 2021 after having their last three games postponed following a road win against Virginia Tech on Dec. 31. The Seminoles are 4-1 overall, 3-1 in conference, with their lone loss a 72-69 defeat at Clemson. In each of the last six seasons, Florida State has not lost more than nine games and they have only missed the NCAA Tournament once since 2004. Florida State remains a talented threat under interim head coach Brook Wyckoff, who is filling in for longtime head coach Sue Semrau for the 2020-21 season. The Seminoles are led by returning juniors Kourtney Weber and Morgan Jones. Weber is averaging 16.2 points and 3.8 rebounds a game, highlighted by an impressive .955 percent from the free-throw line. Florida State currently leads the ACC in free throw percentage shooting .832 as a team.
