LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville opens the season Saturday night at 8 p.m. when the Cardinals host in-state rival Western Kentucky at Cardinal Stadium. The ACC Network will call all the action.
Scott Satterfield, the 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year, will lead his second Cardinals team into the 2020 season. The second-year coach head became only the fourth UofL head coach to lead his team to a bowl game in their first season.
The Cardinals hold a 21-12 all-time lead versus the Hilltoppers in a series that dates back to 1922, a 6-0 win for Western Kentucky. UofL owns an 11-game winning streak over WKU, including a 38-21 win last season in Nashville.
