Cardinals Achieve Success in the Classroom

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track and field and cross country teams achieved stellar results in the classroom in the 2020 spring semester. The women's team posted a 3.616 combined GPA while the men registered a 3.243 combined semester mark.

In addition to their team GPA, the women placed 36 student-athletes on the Athletic Director's honor roll with a GPA of 3.2 or better. Twenty-eight of those achieved a mark of at least 3.5.

Eleven student-athletes: Bailey Beery, Makenli Forrest, Caroline Gosser, Emma Ison, Hannah Judge, Veronika Karpenko, Gabriela Leon, Kassidy Manning, Carly Pujol, Lauren Radenhausen, Addie Wanner achieved Dean's Scholar status for the spring semester.

On the men's side, 25 student-athletes will be named to the Athletic Director's honor roll with 16 registering a GPA of 3.5 or better.

Six student-athletes: D'Onte Blount, Christian Buckley, Rohan Kaushal, Shadrack Kipkosgei, Luke Nichols and Cameron Stephens earned Dean's Scholar status.
