Cardinals Set to Host Wichita State and Notre Dame

Louisville, Ky - The University of Louisville women's tennis team will be back in action this weekend at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The Cardinals will face Wichita State on Saturday at 11 a.m. and No. 24-ranked Notre Dame on Sunday at 12 p.m.

The Cardinals are off to a 8-4 start to the 2020 season. They are currently in the midst of ACC play and are looking to bounce back this weekend. The Cardinals have won the doubles point in 4 of the last 5 matches. The duo of freshmen Andrea Di Palma and redshirt-sophomore Rhea Verma are 7-2 in doubles this season. On the singles side, senior Diana Wong is tied for the team lead in wins with a 8-5 record. Fellow senior Raven Neely currently has a 7-4 record when playing from the No.1 position.

Senior Zoe Spence was also selected to the third team all-ACC in 2019. The Irish are coached by Alison Silverio who is in her second season at the helm, after previously coaching at Oregon.
