LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Following its first Atlantic Coast Conference loss, No. 5 Louisville women's basketball (21-2, 10-1) plays at Syracuse on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. The game will broadcast on ESPN2.

After falling to Louisville in the ACC opener, they won back-to-back overtime games against Florida State (W, 90-89) and Notre Dame (W, 74-63), but are 3-5 since.

The Last Meeting (Dec. 28, 2019) - Jazmine Jones scored 24 points to lead Louisville past Syracuse 62-58 inside the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals took their largest lead at 48-37 on a 3-pointer from Dana Evans with 3:06 to go in the third quarter, but Syracuse opened the fourth quarter on an 11-4 run to even things up at 54-54 and took the lead at 58-57 with two and a half minutes to go. Jones then hit two free throws at the other end to give UofL a 59-58 lead and Louisville regained possession by way of a jump ball with under a minute to go. Balogun missed two free throws, but got the second miss back and made a key layup to push the UofL lead to 61-58 with 31 seconds remaining. After yet another Syracuse turnover, Balogun went 1-of-2 from the line to seal the deal as the Cards took the 62-58 win.
