
Caroline Blalock Named Preseason All-ACC

Earlier this year, Blalock was named a team captain for the third consecutive season.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's lacrosse junior midfielder Caroline Blalock was named preseason All-ACC, as voted on by Atlantic Coast Conference coaches.
Earlier this year, Blalock was named a team captain for the third consecutive season.
Last season, she was named an Inside Lacrosse preseason All-American and finished the season as a member of the ACC All-Academic Team. Her 23 caused turnovers ranked third on the team, eighth in the ACC and tied for 10th in UofL single season history. She ranked fourth on the team with 30 points, third with 10 assists and fifth with 20 goals.
As a freshman, she was named All-ACC Second Team after leading the team with 43 goals, 55 points and 24 caused turnovers.
The Cardinals open the season on Sunday, Feb. 9 at Cincinnati. They open the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, Feb. 15 vs. No. 10 Denver.Â
