Goldwire Named to the Associated Press All-ACC Squad

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Senior defensive tackle Jared Goldwire of the University of Louisville was named to the Associated Press All-ACC second team for the 2020 season on Monday.
A starter in 10 games , Goldwire finished with a career high 35 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks at nose tackle for a defense that improved by nearly seven points a game last year. He lead the defensive linemen in tackles for the season, including a season best six stops in back-to-back games against Georgia Tech and Virginia.
The former junior-college transfer concluded his career with 83 tackles and 4.0 sacks.

The Cardinals closed the season with a 4-7 overall and a 3-7 mark in the ACC
