- Louisville is now 7-6 all-time against Boston College, with the Eagles winning three of the last four meetings.
- The Cardinals ran up 493 total yards of offense in the loss, their fifth consecutive game and eighth time in 10 games with at least 400 yards of offense.
- Louisville outgained Boston College 493-435, the fifth time the Cardinals have outgained their opponent in seven losses this season.
- The Cardinals converted their lone fourth-down attempt on Saturday, improving their season total to 13-for-22 (54.5 percent) on fourth down.
- Hassan Hall reached 1,000 career rushing yards, giving the Cardinals three players with 1,000 career yards on the current team (Malik Cunningham, Javian Hawkins).

- Fitzpatrick moved into sixth on Louisville's career receiving yards list with 2,512 in his career.
- It was the eighth 100-yard receiving game of Fitzpatrick's career, tied with Mario Urrutia for 10th-most in UofL history.
- WR Tutu Atwell pulled in five catches for 78 yards and a score.
- Atwell is now eighth on Louisville's career receiving yards list with 2,307.
- LB C.J. Avery led the Cardinals with 10 tackles, the sixth time with double digit tackles in his career and fourth this season.
- Avery also recorded the second forced fumble of his career.
- DB Russ Yeast recovered his second fumble of the season and his career.
- DB Kei'Trel Clark had a career-best nine tackles on Saturday, along with his team-leading 10th pass breakup of the season.
- K James Turner made both of his field goal attempts in the loss, giving him seven consecutive makes over the last five games.
- Turner is a perfect 11-for-11 on field goal attempts inside of 50 yards.
- DL Malik Clark made his first career start on Saturday, getting the nod at defensive tackle.
