Louisville Women’s Basketball to Host Virtual Luncheon on Thursday

The event will air at noon on Thursday, Nov. 19 on the UofL Athletics Twitter and Facebook accounts.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville's annual women's basketball tipoff luncheon presented by Canon, will be available for Cardinals fans in a virtual format this year.
With the COVID-19 pandemic limiting in-person events, the Cardinals' annual luncheon will be streamed live on the UofL Athletics Twitter (@GoCards) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/GoCards) accounts at noon on Thursday, Nov. 19.
Nick Curran, the play-by-play voice of Louisville women's basketball, will serve as host for the event, which will include interviews with senior Dana Evans, junior Elizabeth Balogun, junior Mykasa Robinson, junior Kianna Smith and freshman Hailey Van Lith, as well as comments from Head Coach Jeff Walz and Vice-President/Director of Athletics Vince Tyra.
The Cardinals open the season at Middle Tennessee on Wednesday, Nov. 25. They open the home portion of their schedule on Sunday, Nov. 29 against Eastern Kentucky.
