- Opponents are just 1-of-8 on fourth down this season after the Cardinals stopped the Seminoles on the opening drive.
- The Cardinals gave up 21 first-quarter points, the most this season, and the largest total since allowing 21 to Georgia Tech on Oct. 5, 2018.
- The Cardinals scored their first touchdown of the game with a 16-play, 66-yard drive that covered 6:22. The 16 plays were the longest drive of the season.
- With two sacks, the Cardinals already matched the total from all of last season.

- Cole Bentley made his first start at center this year.
- Malik Cunningham made his second straight start at quarterback, going 16-of-27 for 286 and tossing a touchdown pass for the second-straight game. It was his first career game with two passing touchdowns and one rushing score.
- The sophomore quarterback threw for a career high 286 yards, besting the 121 yards he passed for against Clemson last season.
- Cunningham's rushing touchdown was the seventh of his career, which places him seventh in school history for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback.
- The 74-yard touchdown from Malik Cunningham to Dez Fitzpatrick was the longest pass play in both players' careers. It was the longest pass play for the Cardinals since Lamar Jackson hit Traveon Samuel with a 78-yard pass versus Clemson in 2017.
- Dez Fitzpatrick caught a season best seven passes for 133 yards, the third 100-yard game of his career. His 14th career touchdown reception place him 12th in school history.
- C.J. Avery recorded his first career unassisted sack in the second quarter. Avery finished with nine tackles.
- Dorian Etheridge added his first sack of the season in the third quarter.
- Tabarius Peterson rushed for nine yards on his first career carry on a fake punt in the season quarter.
- Tutu Atwell caught a touchdown pass for the third-straight game after being held without one in the opener against Notre Dame. The native of Miami, Fla., leads the Cardinals with five touchdown receptions.
- Placekicker Blanton Creque booted a 30-yard field goal in the third quarter to increase his career total to 46-of-55. He's 18-of-22 in his career on field goals of 30+ yards.
- Isaac Martin caught an eight-yard pass from Malik Cunningham for his first career reception.
