
McCoy Named to the Rimington Award Watch List

T.J. McCoy comes to the Cardinals after three seasons at Florida.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Senior center T.J. McCoy of the University of Louisville football team was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List, which honors the best center in the nation.
A graduate transfer from Florida, McCoy is one of 81 players on this preseason list after playing three seasons with the Gators.
Last season, McCoy played in just four games after starting nine games during the 2017 before his season was ended due to an injury.
As a redshirt freshman, the Clermont, Fla., native made his debut in the second week of the season versus Kentucky, going on to start four contests that season.
Louisville opens its 2019 season with a home game against Notre Dame on Sept. 2 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
