Moore earns first team All-American honors to wrap up his Louisville career

AUSTIN, Texas – Martice Moore concluded his collegiate career with the University of Louisville track and field team, earning first team All-American honors in the 400m hurdles on Friday evening at Mike A Myers Stadium.

Moore an early lead and finished seventh with a time of 50.14. The senior earns first team All-American honors for the first time in his standout career.

Moore saved his best season for his senior year. He set the school record in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA East Preliminary Round with a time of 49.85 in the final round. Moore was also crowned the ACC champion in the 110m hurdles, becoming the first Louisville sprinter to earn an ACC title. He also went on to a runner-up in the 400m hurdles at the ACC Championships.

Makenli Forrest will wrap up the 2019 outdoor season for the Cardinals tomorrow at 5:05 p.m. CT. The event will be live streamed on ESPN3.
