
Men's Golf Puts Four on the All-ACC Academic Team

Senior Simon Zach earns honors for the fourth time.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2018-19 men's golf All-ACC Academic Team Wednesday, honoring 30 student-athletes who finished the previous semester with a 3.0 cumulative average and a 3.0 during their academic career.
Duke led the way with five selections, while Louisville and Wake Forest were second with four honorees.
Senior Simon Zach, juniors John Murphy and Devin Morley, and sophomore Matthias Schmid were named to the all-academic team.
Zach, a marketing major who graduated in May, was honored for the fourth time, while Schmid won the award for the second time. Morley and Murphy were first time winners.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
