The Cardinals open the season versus Notre Dame on Labor Day night.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Atlantic Coast Conference confirmed Thursday the kickoff times for the University of Louisville's first two football games of the 2019 football season.
As was previously announced, Louisville's opening football game of the 2019 season will take place at Cardinal Stadium versus Notre Dame on Sept. 2. ESPN will televise the contest to a national audience in prime time on Labor Day Monday Night at 8 p.m. ET.
This will be just the second appearance against the Fighting Irish, and the first at Cardinal Stadium. Louisville defeated the Irish 31-28 at Notre Dame Stadium during the 2014 season.
The Cardinals will then welcome Eastern Kentucky to Cardinal Stadium five days later (Sept. 7) for a 7 p.m. kickoff, which will be televised by the ACC Network Extra.
Earlier in the week, the Western Kentucky game on Sept. 14 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville was announced for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
