SERIES NOTES
- Louisville and Miami have met 15 times since the series began in 1951. The Cardinals hold a 12-4 advantage in the series after tonight's 87-74 win. Â
- Louisville is 5-4 on the road against Miami.
- Since joining the ACC, the Cardinals own a record of 5-2 against the Hurricanes.Â

- Louisville's starting five on Tuesday featured junior Darius Perry, redshirt-senior Ryan McMahon, junior Jordan Nwora, redshirt-senior Steven Enoch and redshirt-senior Dwayne Sutton.
- The Cardinals finished with five players in double figures (Nwora, Sutton, McMahon, Enoch and Williamson). It is the first time since Louisville's 84-77 win over NC State on Jan. 24, 2019 that five players have tallied double-digits.Â
- Louisville has now won 16 straight season openers and 25 of its last 27. The Cards improve to 73-33 all-time in season openers.Â
- With the win, Louisville has won its conference opening game in 10 of the last 11 seasons and seven of the last eight. Louisville has won its first conference road game in ine of the last 12 seasons.Â
- The Cardinals were 10-of-14 (71.4 percent) from the free throw line in Tuesday's win. UofL was one of the top teams in the country from the charity stripe in 2018-19, shooting 77.7 percent as a team.
- Louisville won the battle on the glass 40-34 over Miami. UofL was 17-7 when outrebounding the opposition last year.
- The Cardinals grabbed 10 offensive rebounds leading to 16 second chance points. Louisville had double-digit offensive boards in 18 games one year ago.
PLAYER NOTES
- Jordan Nwora finished with a game-high 23 points on Tuesday night. Nwora, the Cardinals' leading scorer at 17.0 points per game last season, had 13 games with at least 20 points during his sophomore campaign.
- Nwora pulled down 12 rebounds for his 10th career double-double and his first of the season.
- Dwayne Sutton finished with 16 points. The redshirt-senior has now scored in double figures in 22 career games. He scored double digits in 18 games last season.Â
- Freshman Samuell Williamson scored 13 points in his freshman debut. He is the first freshman since to scored double-digits in the opening game since Donovan Mitchell scored 15 points against Evansville on Nov. 11, 2016.Â
- Ryan McMahon finished with 16 points while knocking down 4-of-7 from behind the arc. The redshirt-senior has 16 career double-figure scoring outings.  He finished with double-digits in eight games last season.Â
- Steven Enoch opened his senior year with 11 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. He has three career double-doubles.
- Enoch's 12 rebounds is a career-high for the redshirt-senior.Â
