Eight players will represent Louisville in the ITA/Ohio Valley Regional

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team will head to Vanderbilt to compete in the 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Ohio Valley Regionals this weekend.

The Cardinals will be represented by James Bell, Tin Chen, Clement Filho, Sergio Hernandez, David Mizrahi, Fabien Salle, Alex Wesbrooks and Randy Wilson in the tournament which begins Thursday at 9 a.m. (ET) and will take place at the Currey Tennis Center and the Centennial Sportsplex.

The Ohio Valley Regional will feature 22 teams from around the region with a 128-player singles draw and a 64-team doubles bracket with consolation matches.

Chen leads the participating players in singles with a 7-1 mark in the fall season. The junior transfer from ASA Miami Junior College has also six doubles wins. Hernandez stands second on the squad with a 6-1 record in singles and had teamed with fellow sophomore Fabien Salle for a 6-1 mark in doubles.
