LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball continues its homestand when it hosts Tennessee State on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET.

With the 85-68 win over Nebraska in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Thursday, the Cardinals move to 7-0 on the year. It marks the second straight season and the fifth time in the Walz era that they have started with wins in their first seven games.

The ACC went 8-6 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and is 9-0-3 in the challenge. Last season, the ACC went 10-4. Bionca Dunham has started the last five games after getting her first career start vs. Boise State on 11/19. On the season, she is averaging 8.3 points, while shooting 24-35 (.686) from the floor, and pulling down 3.3 rebounds.

It marked the second time this season and the 15th time in her career that she has led the team in assists. She ranks second on the team with 3.7 assists. Last year she averaged 2.3 assists per game.

Eight players are averaging more than 6.0 points per game and 16.5 minutes per game for the Cards. UofL played all 11 active players, nine scored and four scored in double figures vs. Nebraska. All 11 played, 10 of which played double digit minutes, six scored in double figures and nine scored overall, in the win over Miami (Ohio).

ABOUT THE TIGERS
Last year, Tennessee State finished 6-21 overall and 4-14 in OVC play in head coach Jessica Kern's first season at the helm. They return four starters from a year ago, but have gotten off to a 0-8 start. Of their eight losses four are to power five schools (11/21 - at Vandy, L 89-93; 11/23 - vs. Arkansas, L 79-55; 11/24 vs. Wisconsin, L 58-53; 11/25 vs. Pittsburgh, L, 78-56). In their last contest, they fell in their home debut vs. South Alabama, 78-56. Sophomore guard Taylor Roberts leads the team with 16.3 points per game and 2.4 steals per game, while also pulling down 4.3 rebounds per game.
Series History - UofL is 4-2 all-time against Tennessee State, winning three of the last four. This will mark the Tigers' third trip to the KFC Yum! Center as they fell 88-25 on 12/31/12 and 95-56 last season on 12/12/17. Prior to the matchup in 2012, the two teams had not squared off since 1987.
