- Syracuse defeated Louisville 54-23 on Friday night at the Carrier Dome.
- Louisville holds a 10-7 advantage in the series, including a 5-4 lead in Syracuse.
- Head coach Bobby Petrino owns a 119-56 career record, including a 77-35 mark at Louisville.
- The Cardinals are 23-8 in the month of November under the guidance of Petrino.
