- Clemson defeated Louisville 77-16 on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.
- Clemson holds a 5-0 advantage in the series, including a 3-0 lead in Death Valley.
- The Cardinals are 5-8 all-time on November 3. Saturday's loss ended a three-game win streak on the date.
- Head coach Bobby Petrino owns a 119-55 career record, including a 77-34 mark at Louisville.

- Hall's 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the third quarter was the first for Louisville since Traveon Samuel's 100-yard scoring return against Clemson on Sept. 17, 2015.
- Hall has three kickoff returns of 44 yards or more this season – a 61-yarder against Alabama and a 44-yarder against Boston College to go along with Saturday's 93-yarder.
- Blanton Creque improved to 7-for-7 on field goals this season and the redshirt junior has made his last nine overall, tied for the fifth longest streak in school history.
- Creque leads the Cardinals in scoring this season with his 43 points overall.
- With his 40 career field goals, Creque ranks fourth all-time at Louisville.
- Jaylen Smith led the Cardinals with five catches for 63 yards on Saturday.
- Smith registered five or more catches for the third time this season, all in the last five games.
- Smith remains sixth in career receiving yards at Louisville with 2,391.
- Malik Cunningham came off the bench and finished with 121 yards passing connecting on five of his 10 attempts.
- Cunningham also ran for his third touchdown of the season scoring on a 10-yard scamper in the fourth quarter.
- With his six punts on Saturday, Mason King moved into 10th on Louisville's career punts list with 149 overall surpassing the 147 punts for Al MacFarlane from 1963-65.
