UofL Men’s Basketball Game vs. Simmons Set for a 7 p.m. Tipoff
October 22, 2018 | Men's Basketball
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville's men's basketball game against Simmons College of Kentucky on Nov. 3 in the KFC Yum! Center will tip off at 7:02 p.m. ET.
UofL had been awaiting the time for the Cardinals' football game at Clemson that same day – which was set for a noon kickoff -- before determining the start time of the basketball game, so as not to create a conflict for fans wishing to watch both events. The 7 p.m. start is also after the Breeder's Cup races at Churchill Downs that day.
Simmons will be the second exhibition opponent for the Cardinals. Louisville will play its first game of the 2018-19 season against outside competition as the Cardinals face the Bellarmine Knights in an exhibition game on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the KFC Yum! Center. Bellarmine is ranked as the nation's top team by the Division II Bulletin and is No. 2 preseason by Street & Smith's. UofL opens its season on Nov. 8 against Nicholls State.
Season ticket packages for UofL Basketball are currently available and guarantee access to all 20 home games at the KFC Yum! Center, including such highly-anticipated matchups against Michigan State, Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky and Virginia. Season tickets may be purchased by calling (502) 852-5151, connecting online at www.GoCards.com/mbbtickets, or by visiting the UofL Ticket Office, located near Gate 2 of Cardinal Stadium at 2800 South Floyd Street.
