Cards Set for Louisville Invitational

The University of Louisville men's tennis team is set to host the annual Louisville Invitational Oct. 19-21 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. Fans will get their first look at the 2018-19 Cardinals with free admission on each day of the tournament.

"We are always excited to host many good regional college players and teams from several states at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "This will be a great time for fans to see our freshmen class. We are also hoping our new videoboard will be up and running for this event as well."

The tournament field consists of 14 teams including the host Cardinals who will be represented by Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff, Fabien Salle, Alex Wesbrooks, David Mizrahi, Juan Paredes and Fredrik Moe. Joining Louisville will be Austin Peay, Ball State, Bellarmine, Belmont, Campbellsville, Chattanooga, Illinois State, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee, Tennessee Tech and Xavier.

The tournament format features four flights of singles and doubles and will be played on the indoor and outdoor courts with doubles play starting at 10 a.m. on Friday.
