Cardinals Finish Tied for 10th at Tar Heel Invitational

Lauren Thibodeau led Louisville with a top 20 finish.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - University of Louisville women's golf finished 26-over and tied for 10th at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational which concluded on Sunday afternoon.
Lauren Thibodeau led the way for the Cardinals by finishing tied for 20th at three-over.
Thibodeau opened the tournament with a career-best 68 (-4) and entered the second round tied for fourth place. But, she closed the tournament with rounds of 74 and 77 to finish three-over and tied for 20th.
Lauren Hartlage was the second best scorer for the Cardinals as she finished the tournament tied for 34th at six-over (73-74-75-222). Mairead Martin finished tied for 43rd at eight-over and Olivia Cason finished tied for 48th at nine-over.
The Cardinals return to action next Saturday and Sunday when they host the Cardinal Cup at the UofLÂ Golf Club.
