The Cardinals have tallied 13-consecutive semesters with at least a 3.0 grade-point average.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's golf program continues to excel on the golf course, but more importantly, in the classroom under head coach Mark Crabtree.
The Cardinals compiled a 3.37 cumulative grade-point average in the fall semester, and even more impressive is the 13-consecutive semesters the team has recorded 3.0 grade-point average or higher.
Individually, eight Cardinals recorded at least a 3.0 GPA in the fall, while seven totaled a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
"It was a quality effort put in by our guys this fall," head coach Mark Crabtree said. "I appreciate their dedication and desire to excel in the classroom. I'd like to thank Lauren Hansen (academic advisor) for all she does during the year."
The men's golf team was one of seven UofL sports with a perfect 1000 single-year APR score for the most recent 2015-16 figures and were among the top 10 percent in their respective sports in the latest multiyear APR, which measures academic eligibility, retention and graduation for student-athletes.
Louisville begins the spring portion of its schedule on Feb. 26, with the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, La.
