Brandon Lancaster advances to A1 singles consolation finals, teams with George Hedley to win B consolation doubles
Junior Brandon Lancaster advanced to the finals of the A1 singles consolation draw and teamed with fellow junior George Hedley to win the B Division consolation title on day two of Duke's James Bonk Invitational.
Â
"Today was a day with missed opportunities," said UofL assistant coach Jakob Gustafsson. "There was no lack of effort from the guys, but the ball didn't bounce our way today. I'm really happy with Brandon going undefeated through the day. He showed great mental toughness out there and I hope we can all finish with a bang tomorrow."

Â
In A2 doubles action, Lancaster and Hedley teamed to beat Elon's Felipe Sarrasague and Mario Paccini 8-6 to reach the finals where they outlasted Charlotte's Leonardo Menezes and Constandinos Christoforou 8-7 (3).
