
Women’s Golf Finishes Clemson Invitational Tied for 11th

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's golf team totaled a 28-over-par 892 and finished the Clemson Invitational tied for 11th on Sunday in Sunset, S.C.
The Cardinals logged a 16-over-par 304 in the final round of the three-day tournament at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. Florida State captured the team title behind a 10-under-par 854.
Olivia Cason and Molly Skapik each shot a 4-over-par 220 to lead Louisville, which was competing in its final regular-season tournament. The duo tied for 29th. Cason, who capped the event with a 3-over-par 75, finished with 39 pars. Skapik earned a 4-over-par 76 in the third round.
Lauren Hartlage registered the third-best score on the team, tying for 44th. Behind a 5-over-par 77 in the third round, the freshman carded an 8-over-par 224.
Jacqueline Twitty had the fourth-best overall score, tying for 67th, but Shannon Gramley shot the fourth-best round on Sunday, with a 4-over-par 76.
Meghan Nay, who was participating as an individual, tied for 82nd.
Louisville begins postseason play with the ACC Championship from April 13-15. Competition takes place at The Reserve Country Club in Pawley's Island, S.C.
