Cards outlast Eagles for 4-3 win.
The University of Louisville won the doubles point and then held off a late surge by the Eagles to beat Boston College 4-3 in ACC women's tennis action Sunday evening in Boston.

The Cardinals won the doubles point when the No. 1 pair of Abbie Pahz and Mariana Humberg beat Kylie Wilcox and Dasha Possokhova 6-2 before Ariana Rodriguez and Elle Stokes beat Lexi Borr and Emily Safron 6-2 at No. 2 to clinch the point.

The momentum rolled over into singles when No. 1 player Aleksandra Mally beat Asiya Dair 6-4, 6-0. The Eagles countered when No. 4 Kylie Wilcox beat Abbie Pahz 7-6, 6-1. Elle Stokes gave the Cards another point with a 6-2, 7-6 win over Dasha Possokhova. The Cards clinched when Mariana Humberg won a three set battle 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2.

The Cardinals are back in action March 31 when they travel to Syracuse before they head to Virginia Tech April 2.
