Louisville is off to a 6-0 start this season under Head Coach Mark Beckham, with victories over Eastern Michigan and Liberty last weekend. The Cardinals, who hope to continue their undefeated streak this weekend, are led by junior, Mariana Humberg, and redshirt sophomore, Aleksandra Mally. Georgia State has a young roster, with only one junior and one senior for third-year Head Coach Jason Marshall. Junior, Kristin Rehse, is 2-1 on the season, winning her previous two singles matches. The Cardinals and the Panthers meet for the first time in four years, where the Louisville won by forfeit in 2013.
