- Sophomore Donovan Mitchell reached double-figures in scoring for the seventh-straight game and the 13th time in 14 games with Saturday's 26-point performance. It marked the sixth time this season he scored 20 or more points in a game. Over the last seven games, Mitchell is averaging 21.7 points per game over that span.
- Mitchell has scored in double figures 20 times this season and 33 times in his two collegiate seasons.
- In the last 13 games, Mitchell has averaged 19.5 points per outing while making 44.4 percent (40-for-90) of his three-point shots.
- Sophomore forward Jaylen Johnson, who opened the year by scoring a career-high 19 points versus Evansville, had his second-best scoring performance of the season by tallying 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor, while also grabbing eight or more boards for the 10th time this year. Johnson delivered his 13th double-figure scoring performance of the season and the 15th of his career with Saturday's effort.
- Junior Quentin Snider, who missed six games with a hip flexor injury, scored 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, the seventh-straight game scoring in double figures.
- Snider reached double figures for the 14th time in 21 games this season and has 34 career double-figure scoring games.
- Saturday's game also marked the 14th time this season Snider has finished with four or more assists.
- Snider was 3 of 6 on 3-point attempts on Saturday and has connected for three or more 3-pointers nine times this season, including six of his last seven games.
