
No. 3 Women's Basketball to Face Air Force in Colorado Springs on Wednesday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - No. 3 Women's Basketball (13-0) travels to Colorado Springs, Colo., the hometown of sophomore Kylee Shook, to square off against Air Force on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET in their final test before beginning conference play.
On Sunday, the Cardinals made it two straight wins over Kentucky with an 87-63 victory over the Wildcats in Lexington. It marked their first win in Lexington since 2007 and their first at Memorial Coliseum since 1979.
Five players scored in double figures in the win over UK (Durr - 32, Hines-Allen - 18, Carter - 11, Evans - 11, Fuehring), which followed seven players scoring in double figures against Tennessee State. Three times this year, five players have finished in double figures, also three times four players have finished in double figures.
Junior Sam Fuehring (10 points, 10 rebounds) and freshman Dana Evans (11 points, 10 assists) finished with double-doubles in the victory. It marked the second time this season that multiple players have recorded double-doubles, as senior Myisha Hines-Allen and sophomore Jazmine Jones did so against Toledo.
Junior Asia Durr had 32 points on 6-of-11 3-pointt shooting against the Wildcats, marking her second highest point total of the season, second to only her 47-point performance against Ohio State that set the school record. She has scored in double figures in her last six games and has 10 double-digit scoring games this season, including five 20-point games. She is 13-of-19 from 3-point range her last three games.Â
Her 41 3-point field goals made rank sixth in the country and leads the  ACC. For her career, Durr has connected on 204 threes, which ranks sixth on the school's all-time list. With 246 points, she ranks 11th in the country and her 18.9 points per game rank 52nd in the country and fifth in the ACC.
Shook has 20 blocks in her last seven games, including 12 in her last three and a career-high six against Middle Tennessee.Â

Air Force (0-10) has yet to win a game this season, but seven of their ten losses are by less than 10 points. Four of their losses are by less than three points.
Freshman guard Kaelin Immel leads the team in scoring with 12.4 points and has knocked down a team-best 19 3-pointers, shooting 31 percent (19-61) from deep. Freshman Emily Conroe averages 9.9 points, while senior Cortney Porter averages 9.4 points. Porter is 13 points shy of reaching 1,000 for her career at Air Force with 987 points. Senior Dee Bennett is pulling down a team-high 7.8 points, while putting up 5.0 points per game.
Junior Venessanna Itugbu and Shook were high school teammates at Mesa Ridge High School in Colorado Springs. The two were part of the undefeated 28-0 Colorado Class 4A State Champion team in 2014, the school's first-ever state championship in any sport.
