Cardinals to Close Fall with Sunday’s Rivanna Romp

Louisville scheduled to have nine boats racing in the one-day event hosted by Virginia
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville rowing team will compete in its final race of the fall with Sunday's Rivanna Romp hosted by the University of Virginia on the Rivanna Reservoir in Earlysville, Virginia.
The Cardinals are making their sixth consecutive appearance in the Rivanna Romp. Louisville will have two varsity eight boats, six varsity four boats and one freshman eight boat competing in the event, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., ET. Along with the host Cavaliers, the Cardinals will be competing against Clemson, Columbia, Duke, Miami and Pennsylvania.
The racing schedule for Louisville will resume in the spring with the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on March 17-18 in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
