LOUISVILLE, KY. – The University of Louisville men's basketball team held its annual media day at the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday afternoon.
Interim head coach David Padgett met with the local and national media first while breakout interviews with the players followed.
The Cardinals return five of their top eight scorers from a year ago when UofL posted a 25-9 record, tied for second in the ACC and earned a No. 10 ranking in the final Associated Press poll. It was the 15th-consecutive season UofL has won 20 or more games.
A trio of captains will serve as the Cardinals' leaders on the court in guard Quentin Snider, wing Deng Adel, and center Anas Mahmoud.
The Cardinals will compete in the first exhibition game of the season at the KFC Yum! Center on Monday, Oct. 30 against Kentucky Wesleyan at 7:00 p.m.
