The Cardinals and Seminoles take the field for a Saturday matchup at noon.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Louisville football begins a two-game swing on the road, starting with a contest at Florida State in an Atlantic Coast Conference tilt in Doak S. Campbell Stadium at noon.
The teams are meeting for the 18th time in series history, and Florida State owns a 14-3 advantage. The series dates back to 1952 and opened with a 41-14 Cardinals victory in Tallahassee.
The Cardinals and Seminoles have played three times since Louisville joined the ACC in 2014, with Florida State holding a 2-1 advantage. The Cardinals won last year's meeting 63-20 at home.
ESPN (Mark Jones, Rod Gilmore, Quint Kessenich) is broadcasting the game, while Louisville Sports Properties radio coverage on WKRD 790 AM begins at 10:30 a.m., featuring Paul Rogers, Jody Demling, and Howie Lindsey.

8 – Louisville has played a game on Oct. 21 on 13 occasions in school history, winning EIGHT of those decisions.
7 – Dez Fitzpatrick hauled in his SEVENTH touchdown reception of the season, tying him with Arnold Jackson (1997) and Mario Urrutia (2005) for most by a freshman in school history. Fitzpatrick needs two more to tie for second most by a freshman in ACC history.
6 – Quarterback Lamar Jackson ranks SIXTH in the school history with 522 career completions. He has connected on better than 60 percent of his passes this season, with 56.9 percent clip for his career.
5 – The Cardinals' offense went at least 75 yards on FIVE of the team's six touchdowns against Boston College.
4 – Louisville ranks FOURTH nationally in total offense, averaging 567.4 yards per contest. The Cardinals' air attack accounts for 358.9 yards of that figure, with the team listed seventh nationally in passing offense.
3 – THREE players totaled double-digit tackles last week against Boston College. Dorian Etheridge finished with a season-high 14, the most in a game by a freshman in school history.
2 – Louisville's offense has accumulated 194 first downs this year, SECOND most in the country. The Cardinals are averaging nearly 28 per game.
1 – Reggie Bonnafon registered his FIRST career 100-yard rushing game, carrying the ball 12 times for 107 yards and one touchdown.
