
Two Cardinals Earn All-America Scholar Accolades

J.D. Lehman and Robin Sciot-Siegrist earn academic accolade
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Two University of Louisville men's golfers were named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars, announced by the GCAA on Thursday.
Senior Robin Sciot-Siegrist and junior J.D. Lehman were honored for their work on the golf course and in the classroom last season.
A total of 212 players in Division I, 91 in Division II and 12 in NAIA earned the honor. Additionally, 34 honorees were added to the previously released Division III Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars.
To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, 78.0 in Division II, 77.0 in NAIA and 79.0 in Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
Sciot-Siegrist, one of the most decorated golfers in school history, ended his career by leading the Cardinals to their third appearance at the NCAA Championships and guiding the team to a 14th-place finish. The Rueil-Malmaison, France native appeared in  13 events and led the Cardinals with a school-record 71.65 stroke average, including winning his second-straight ACC title and posting four top-five finishes in 2015-16.
A Bluffton, S.C., native, Lehamn played in 13 events and was fourth on the squad with a 74.40 stroke average, including a season-best seventh-place finish at the Wexford Invitational.
