Sciot-Siegrist named for the second-straight year.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -  Three members of the University of Louisville men's team were recognized on Tuesday morning as former player Robin Sciot-Siegrist and rising sophomores Keegan de Lange and Simon Zach were named to the 2015-16 All-ACC Academic Men's Golf Team.
Sciot-Siegrist is two-time honoree on the 25-member academic squad. Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
Sciot-Siegrist earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology while at Louisville from 2012-16, while de Lange and Zach are both sociology majors.
A native of Rueil-Malmaison, France, Sciot-Siegrist became the program's career leader in stroke average after an outstanding four-year career and also set the school mark for the top single-season stroke mark. A two-time ACC champion, Sciot-Siegrist notched three tournament championships and guided the Cardinals to three-straight regional appearances and the school's third visit to the NCAA Championships this season.
De Lange, who joined the program in the spring, appeared in nine events and posted the team's second-best stroke average at 72.96, while posting a top-five finish and three top-10 finishes. His best ending came at the Seminole Intercollegiate by finishing fourth and also placed ninth at the Clemson Intercollegiate and 10th at the NCAA Stillwater Regional.
Zach, who played in each of the team's event this season, posted a remarkable 73.74 stroke average as a true freshman. Playing in 13 events, Zach's best mark came at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate with a seventh-place finish and was 17th in his first regional appearance. Â
Eight golfers who earned All-ACC honors this season secured spots on the 2015-16 All-ACC Academic Men's Golf Team: Clemson's Stephen Behr, Bryson Nimmer, and Carson Young, Duke's Adam Wood, Florida State's Lebioda, Jimmy Stanger and Sciot-Siegrist.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
