
Football Game Times Announced For First Three Weeks

Cardinals will host Florida State in a nationally televised contest on ABC.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Two nationally televised games highlight the 2016 University of Louisville football schedule as the Atlantic Coast Conference announced its early season schedule on Thursday.
After opening the season at home on Sept. 1 versus Charlotte on Thursday night at 7 p.m. on the ACC's Regional Sports Network, the Cardinals begin their ACC schedule on a Friday at Syracuse on Sept. 9 in an 8 p.m. game televised by ESPN2.
The following week, Louisville returns home on Saturday to face Florida State on Sept. 17 in an ACC matchup that will start at noon and air on ABC.
The Cardinals return 18 starters from last season's 8-5 squad that won eight of their final 10 games, including a 27-21 win over Texas A&M in the Music City Bowl in Nashville, Tenn.
