Women's Tennis Returns to ACC Action

Cards host BC and Duke.
The University of Louisville women's tennis team (7-8, 0-5)  returns  home to take on ACC foes No. 66 Boston College on Friday, March 18 at 3 p.m. and No. 8 Duke on Sunday, March 20 at 11 a.m.

Louisville fell 5-2 last weekend to  ACC foe North Carolina State. The Cardinals are currently coming off of a 6-1 win over Eastern Kentucky. Sophomore Abbie Pahz, 11-3 and undefeated in conference play, looks to continue to her dominate season after defeating NCSU's Tayla Stenta (6-1, 6-4) at No. 5 and EKU's Marina Marti (6-2, 6-1) at No. 4.

 Boston College (6-7, 1-5) is coming off of an upset win over No. 19 Clemson, defeating them 5-2, followed by a 1-6 loss to No. 33 Georgia Tech. Boston College boasts two ranked singles in No. 71 Lexi Borr and No. 82 Asiya Dair and one ranked doubles in No. 57 Lexi Borr/Jackie Urbinati.

Duke (10-2, 3-1) is coming off of their lone ACC loss of the season when they fell on the road to Virginia Tech, 2-5. Duke carries with them four ranked singles in No. 28 Beatrice Capra, No. 32 Kaitlyn McCarthy, No. 67 Chalena Scholl, and No. 106 Ellyse Hamlin as well as two ranked doubles in No. 18 Beatrice Capra/Ellyse Hamlin and No. 65 Chalena Scholl/Jessica Ho.
