- Redshirt freshman linebacker Jonathan Greenard made his first career start in place of linebacker Devonte Fields, who missed the game due to injury.
- QB Lamar Jackson has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 11-straight games. His four TD passes today marked the fourth time this season he has had three or more TD passes and the fifth of his career.
- Entering the game with 18 touchdown passes this season, Jackson has 22 for the season, which is ninth on the school's single-season list and 34 for his career, which ties him for eighth.
- With four more touchdowns today, Jackson extends his school record for touchdowns responsible for to 38 this year and 61 for his career.
- With 451 yards of total offense today, Jackson has 3,520 yards on the season, which ranks as the seventh-most at UofL for a single season.

- K Blanton Creque booted a 32-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, connecting on his eighth straight attempt.
- TE Cole Hikutini had six receptions for 89 yards, including a key reception on fourth down with a minute to go in the game. It was the third time in the last four games that he has had six or more receptions.
