Cards Will Face Purdue and Ohio State in the 2017 ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Louisville will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. for the second annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge Feb. 17-19
The University of Louisville softball team will face Purdue and Ohio State in the 2017 ACC/Big Ten Softball Challenge the Atlantic Coast and Big Ten Conferences announced on Thursday.

The Cardinals will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. to take on Purdue in the opening game on Feb. 17 and will go on to face the Boilermakers again on Feb. 18. Louisville will match up with Ohio State on Feb. 18 and again on Feb. 19. Game times and television coverage will be announced at a later date.
The annual challenge, which debuted last season, will feature eight schools from each conference, playing four games each at four campus sites over a three-day period from Feb. 17-19, 2017.

About the ACC/Big Ten Softball Challenge: Four ACC schools will play host to the Challenge: Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and NC State. Louisville, Notre Dame, Pitt and Virginia Tech are the other four ACC participants in the Challenge. Big Ten competitors include Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue.
