- The Cardinals' drew the 10th-largest crowd in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium history on Friday night, with 55,121 in attendance for Louisville's victory.

- Lamar Jackson found Jaylen Smith for a five-yard touchdown on the opening drive. He capped the game with a two-yard rush for a touchdown, the 53rd touchdown he's been responsible for in his career. Jackson passed Lenny Lyles with the score, giving him sole possession of fifth on the all-time list.
- Jackson's two-yard scoring run is the 30th touchdown he has accounted for this season, tying Chris Redman (1999) for fifth most in a season.
- Jackson's 15th rushing touchdown this season ties him with Nathan Poole (1978) and Anthony Shelman (1994) for sixth most in a season at UofL.
- Jackson has both a rushing and passing touchdown in nine-consecutive games.
- Jackson totaled 325 yards of offense, giving him 5,438 for his career. It moves him ahead of Jeff Brohm (1989-93, 5,410 yards) for seventh place.
- Jackson secured the 10th 100-yard rushing game of his career, tying him with Michael Bush for fifth most 100-yard games at UofL.
- Jeremy Smith's 80-yard touchdown run is the longest since Bilal Powell sprinted 85 yards against Cincinnati in 2010. It also is longest touchdown play for Louisville this year.
- Drew Bailey totaled a career-high 11 tackles, seven solo, to go with three stops for a loss.
- Jaylen Smith caught his fourth career touchdown on the first score of the game. It was his lone catch of the contest.
- Seth Dawkins' lone reception of the game was a 53-yarder, a career best.
- James Quick totaled a team-high five receptions for 37 yards. He moved into 14th all-time for career receiving yards (1,743) and 19th all-time for career receptions (109).
