Harvey-Clemons Named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â University of Louisville safety Josh Harvey-Clemons was named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Making his first appearance since transferring from Georgia in 2014, Harvey-Clemons started and was pivotal in the 31-24 loss to Auburn in the Chick-fil-A game last Saturday in the Georgia Dome.
Starting at strong safety, Harvey-Clemons picked off a pair of Jeremy Johnson passes and posted a career-high 14 tackles against the Tigers. Facing one of the most prolific offenses in the country, the Cardinals held the Tigers to 327 yards of total offense and 137 through the air in the season-opening loss.
The Cardinals return home on Saturday to face Houston in a 12:03 p.m. kickoff at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
