LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team received all-academic team honors today by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA). The Cardinals were one of 90 Division I men's golf program recognized for their work away from the course.
A total of 169 programs were honored by the GCAA. Louisville was one of five ACC programs to earn the distinction as Duke, Boston College, North Carolina and Georgia Tech joined the Cardinals on the prestigious list.
A week ago, Robin Sciot-Siegiest, Antoine LeSaux and Gus Lundquist were named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar by the GCAA for their work in the classroom.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors, a college or university must submit the grade-point averages for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
