Petrino Meets with Media at Governor's Cup Luncheon

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville head football coach Bobby Petrino met the media at the Governor's Cup Luncheon on Wednesday afternoon at the Frankfort Country Club.

Entering his sixth season with the Cardinals, Petrino said the veterans and a majority of the freshman class reported to campus on Monday for the beginning of summer school and summer workouts.
The Cardinals, who finished with a 9-4 overall record, including a 5-3 mark in the ACC, return 11 starters, including six on a defense that was ranked in the top-10 nationally
Louisville opens the 2015 season against Auburn in the Chick-Fil-A Classic in Atlanta, Georgia, at 3:30 p.m. on CBS. Tickets are still available through the UofL ticket office for the season opener.
